This weekend... I decided I would take a spontanious trip to vegas... I love Vegas... can I just tell you. It's one of the nastiest places on earth, and it really should be blown up, but yet something about it just attracks me there and I don't know why. I think it's cause I'm such a people watcher. The freaks that come out of the woodwork is AMAZING!!!!
Me and for of my other girlfriends decided we were going to leave on Sat morning at 6am so we could get there and enjoy our short stay. We ended up leaving town at about 7:30am. About half way there, my friend Amber that decided she would drive, the engine in her truck decided it was done and didn't want to play anymore... so it gave out on us. Her truck still runs lucky for us, so we made it into Cedar City. Yeah.... So we had two choices... leave it there and rent a car and keep going cause there was nothing we could do til monday..... or tow the truck back to Salt Lake and be pissy all weekend..... we chose to leave the truck in Cedar and rent a car.... nothing was stopping us.... we ended up getting into Vegas at about 3pm.... We had a blast!!!! We played on the strip.... we went to margaritaville.... we went to caesars palace..... we had fun!
Next morning, we got up at 5am and went to breakfast at Denny's. It was bitter cold in Vegas mind you. Nothing but flip flops on my feet.... ;) Due to the truck issues we had, we had to leave early Sunday morning to figure out what we were going to do with the truck. We left Vegas at 9am and dropped our rental car off in Cedar cause that was all the further we could take it.... Good thing Amber's dad was nice enough to come and get us... we would have been stuck. He drove 3 hours to Cedar to pick us up. We ended up leaving her truck and this sat we are going back to get it..... What an adventure!!!! It seems like this is what my life is always like.... it's full of good times.... gotta love it!!!
